“Sound of Ikebana” 2014 collection takes inspiration from a series of four eponymous videos shot at 2000 frames per second, capturing the explosion of kaleidoscopic paints from sound waves created by the artist singing haiku into speakers.  The collection of prints interprets the four seasons through fluid colour.

Naoko Tosa is an internationally renowned Japanese media artist who has been focusing on the expression of Japanese tradition and culture utilizing digital technologies. Her works in this area have paved the way for a better understanding of how humans can interact with computers beyond just a verbal and visual relationship.

To date Naoko has exhibited her art internationally at numerous prestigious museums including MOMA in New York and The New York Metropolitan Art Museum. Naoko has exhibited “Sound of Ikebana” her latest fluid Video Art installations from September 2013 to January 2014 at the ArtScience Museum Singapore.

Currently she is a professor at Kyoto University and a visiting professor at the National University of Singapore.

Andrew Maccoll is a talented fashion and advertising photographer based in Australia. His passion for excellence guided him towards celebrity portraiture and fashion photography for advertising and lifestyle clients. Andrew has been graced with some amazing opportunities during his career including shooting Robert De Niro, Bill Clinton, music superstar P!NK and many more celebrities.

Isabelle Faith Vesey is an international model, actor, painter and freelance artist currently based between Australia and Mexico where she currently works on a modeling contract. Her art draws inspiration from Japanese Manga and David Lynch films.

John Ashton Hawthorne (Ash). Ash is the first male face of Mad About Hue – appearing throughout the 2014 Sound of Ikebana campaign. He is an up an coming South African Model, Actor and Personal Trainer residing in Sydney Australia and has appeared in a number of campaigns and magazines.
